Purpose of Voice Therapy

Voice therapy is designed to improve overall vocal quality, strength, and function. Before an individual engages in a voice evaluation with a trained speech pathologist, they must be evaluated by an ENT to rule out any vocal cord pathology. An ENT must also provide a prescription for the evaluation and treatment, which will be presented to the speech pathologist.
